Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Market Research and Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified Small Business, HUB Zone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran owned, and Women owned Small Business firms. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the government in making appropriate acquisition decisions. The Mobile District Corps of Engineers has a need for a one MATOC pool that will contain a full range of horizontal construction, renovation, repair, and some incidental design task orders for general construction primarily supporting the work to be performed at twelve (12) locations and associated facilities as follows: Alabama River Lakes, AL Allatoona Lake, GA Black Warrior and Tombigbee Rivers, AL Buford Dam and Lake Sidney Lanier, GA Carters Dam and Lake, GA Jim Woodruff Lock and Dam and Lake Seminole, AL, FL, & GA Okatibbee Lake, MS Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, AL, & MS Walter F. George Lock and Dam, AL, & GA West Point Dam and Lake, GA, & AL Panama City, FL Irvington, AL The NAICS is 237990, size standard $45M, with a $1.9 M capacity with projects ranging in size from $1K to $1M. This contract is intended to provide for a quick, cost-effective response to requirements for a full range of horizontal construction, repairs and design/build, task orders for general construction primarily in supporting the Mobile District's requirements at locations described above. Potential projects include, but are not limited to new construction, incidental design/repair/rehab/install of Project Management Offices, Powerhouse, Maintenance Facility, Operations Area, boathouse, bathhouses, washhouses, gatehouses, toilets, shops, fencing, , playground equipment, bulletin boards, game courts, fire and security systems, picnic sites and campsites, courtesy docks, wooden bridges, HVAC, roofs, siding, boat storage sheds, bank stabilization/placement of rip-rap, repair/repaint spillway gates. NO HARDCOPY RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE ELECTRONIC and submitted in .pdf format to the following URL: https://forms.osi.apps.mil/r/FeqAt3cDnQ (please copy url and paste into browser). Response submittals are due no later than May 13, 2026. Electronic submittals will be retained for future reference; however, they are to be considered source sensitive and not subject to public disclosure.
