Additionally, the Government reserves the right to revise specifications and refine contract requirements before the release of any associated solicitation. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). Other information provided in this notice is subject to change prior to the release of the solicitation. This is not a pre-solicitation notice. OVERVIEW: The Department of Veteran Affairs, NCO6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the construction of concrete slabs. The place of performance will be at the Hampton VA Medical System in Hampton, Virginia. SCOPE OF WORK: The Hampton VA Medical System requires construction services for the installation of concrete pads for e-vehicle and diesel Kubota parking. Work includes the demolition of existing stairs to be turned into a 12 x 24 concrete ramp tied into a dock area as well as excavation, grading, and preparation of subgrade and gravel base course where necessary. The scope of work also includes a 4 15 x50 concrete slab with a minimum 4000psi that requires the burying of 1-1/2 conduit. You may also attach a copy of your company s capability statement as additional evidence. Additional information may be requested by NCO6 at a later time.
