Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0690 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for mitigating contamination issues with a persistent pathogen of potato, the rock bed/dirt below the benches in all potato greenhouse spaces needs to be replaced with cement, and proper drainage needs added to allow this change. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238110 Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors. The small business size standard is $19M. This acquisition is set-aside for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBZone). All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. While not required, all contractors are encouraged to satisfy their obligations under FAR 52.236-3, acknowledging you�ve taken all reasonably necessary steps to ascertain the nature of the work and satisfy yourself with the general conditions that affect your price. Questions shall be submitted via emailed to david.hildebrand@usda.gov and are due no later than June 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM Central time. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends. Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email.
