Description
The Government, in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)), is issuing this Call for Solutions (C4S) against Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) W58RGZ-26-S-C001-0004 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3458. This Call will competitively acquire and/or onboard innovative commercial portable electronic conspicuity devices. The Government reserves the right to alter or cancel this call at any time. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this Call; all preparation and submission costs shall be solely at the interested party's expense. Furthermore, choosing not to respond to this C4S does not preclude participation in any future solicitations or procurement actions. The purpose of this effort is to identify, assess, and rapidly procure portable electronic conspicuity devices that broadcast on 978 MHz Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) while providing the appropriate levels of anonymity needed for sensitive missions conducted by low-flying military aircraft. This effort aligns with the Department of War's (DoW) strategic objective of ensuring safe airspace integration while maintaining operational security. Through this Call, the Government ensures that industry remains informed of its changing needs, fostering ongoing investment and innovation in electronic conspicuity technologies. All viable responses will be considered for follow-on capability demonstrations and potential procurement based on specific mission requirements and the availability of funds.
