Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE-SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS, i.e., a solicitation package will not be issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333924 Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing, with a size standard of 900 employees. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is 3930 Warehouse Trucks and Tractors, Self-propelled. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) Property Warehouse operations require one (1) propane, pneumatic 6000-lb capacity forklift for immediate delivery (within 3-5 days of award) to their facility in Honolulu, HI. The 413th CSB RCO-HI intends to issue a firm fixed price single-award contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source to: Servco Pacific, Inc. dba Servco Forklift & Industrial Equipment 2850 Mokumoa Street Honolulu, HI 96819 This announcement is for informational purposes and not a request for competitive quotations; thus, a solicitation will not be available for this requirement. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing via e-mail only and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
