Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) BUT FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Hurlburt Field Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under the small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systens Code (NAICS) proposed is 336411. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS is 1,500 Employees. The potential requirement is to provide MC-130H Aircraft Restoration Services and will consist of the contractor providing all management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary for the comprehensive cosmetic restoration of a static display MC-130H aircraft at the Hurlburt Field Air Park in Florida, involving extensive corrosion removal, sheet metal repair, complete repainting to its original historical color scheme, and weather-proofing to bring the aircraft to a durable, museum-quality standard. The contractor shall accomplish all tasks to meet the requirements of the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
