AMENDMENT 0001 - The purpose of Amendment 0001 to Sources Sought W519TC-26-Q-BALL is to add Attachment 0002 - CAAA Form 702-37 and Attachment 0003 - Certified Test Report. The Sources Sought due date will be extended from 24MAR2026 to 30MAR2026. All other information remains the same. The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Rock Island, is seeking to identify potential System for Award Management (SAM) Database registered business that can provide the following: Ball Bearings. This announcement is for information and planning purpose only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a request for proposal. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential (SAM) Database register businesses interested and capable of performing this work. ANTICIPATED NAICS CODE: 332991 � Ball and Roller Bearing Manufacturing ANTICIPATED PSC: 3110 � Bearings, Antifriction, Unmounted SIZE STANDARD: 1,250 employees DESCRIPTION OF WORK: It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) will be established for current and future requirements of manufactured ball bearings in accordance with the specifications listed below: Brand name or equal to: Abbott Ball Company � Part #: MS19060-1008. Minimum Quantity: 1,000,000 each OR 1,000 packages of 1,000 ball bearings All dimensions are in inches. Required specs for �or equal� per individual ball: Ball Bearings must be manufactured in the United States or Canada. MATERIAL: Corrosion resistant steel, conforming to the chemical composition of UNS S44003 or UNS S44004 in accordance with ASTM A276. HARDNESS: Shall be 58-65 HRC or equivalent. Allowable surface roughness (ARITHMETICAL AVERAGE): 1.0 millionths of an inch. In accordance with ANSI B46.1. Allowable ball diameter variation: 10 millionths of an inch. (.00001). Allowable deviation from spherical form: 10 millionths of an inch. (.00001). Basic Diameter: .125000�. Material density: Shall be .277 pound per cubic inch. Grade: 10. Packaged 1,000 pieces per bag. Partial shipments are acceptable as long as there are 1,000 pieces per bag. 440 DRARS A Material Certification and Certificate of Conformance or Certified Material Test Report certifying specific specifications must be included for each shipment. In addition, a First Article Test (FAT) must accompany each delivery order. The FAT quantity is 10 each (single ball bearings). The government reserves the right to waive future FAT requirements for future delivery orders. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible SAM Database registered businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research by emailing the requirement information below to the point of contacts listed on this announcement. Interested businesses must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database at www.sam.gov. Email submissions are required. Interested businesses shall include the following information to be considered for market research purposes: Filled out Attachment 0001 - RFI Ball Bearings Questionnaire Company Name, Address, SAM Unique Entity ID/CAGE Code, current business size (e.g. Small or Large business) Brief synopsis of interest and a capabilities statement indicating the contractor can meet the requirements needs. Include additional NAICS Codes that you believe is more appropriate for this requirement. Include estimated lead time upon receipt of order A prior experience statement indicating the contractor has provided this requirement to the Government, with a previous contract listed. Point of contact information including name, phone number and email address.
