Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N6660421Q0310. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to purchase on-site services for one year of Thermotron preventive maintenance services and four one-year maintenance renewal options on a Sole Source basis from VentureDyne LTD as stated below. 0001 Annual Calibration and Preventive Maintenance of 8 Thermotron Environmental Chambers in the Survivability Lab in accordance with the Statement of Work (Quantity: 1 year); Base Period of Performance: 5/15/2021 - 5/14/2022 0002 Option Year 1, preventive maintenance; Period of Performance: 5/15/2022 � 5/14/2023 0003 Option Year 2, preventive maintenance; Period of Performance: 5/15/2023 - 5/14/2024 0004 Option Year 3, preventive maintenance; Period of Performance: 5/15/2024 � 5/14/2025 0005 Option Year 4, preventive maintenance; Period of Performance: 5/15/2025 � 5/14/2026 F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI. 02841. This requirement is being solicited on a sole source basis to VentureDyne. LTD, dba Thermotron Industries, on an unrestricted basis as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541380. The Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million dollars. The required calibration and maintenance services are proprietary to Thermotron Industries and can only be provided by Thermotron Field Service Engineers, as non-factory service technicians do not have access to Thermotron�s proprietary calibration procedures and replacement parts. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The contractor must fill in and sign the attached provision and submit it with its quote. This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines.
