Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis only pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of commercially available products/services that may be of interest to the United States Coast Guard (USCG) as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Responses will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy, including whether a set-aside is appropriate. This procurement is subject to the Randolph-Sheppard Act (RS-Act), 20 U.S.C. �107, Operation of Vending Facilities and 34 CFR �395.33, Operation of Cafeterias by Blind Vendors, which establishes a priority for blind persons recognized and represented by the State Licensing Agency (SLA). This notice is not designed to discourage competition, rather, it notifies all potential Offerors that the priority established by the RS-Act for proposals received from SLAs and their blind vendors is applicable to this procurement. Submission of Information: To assist the Government in its market research efforts, interested vendors are encouraged to provide the following: Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for the potential work described herein. The ROM should be non-binding and intended for planning purposes only. Please include the following in your submission: High-level cost estimate (ROM) Assumptions or basis used to develop the ROM Any comments on potential cost drivers, risks, or efficiencies Company Capability Statement - capability statement that explains what type of work your company has experience performing. Please provide information on whether your company can fill all of the requirements described above or if only interested in a portion of the requirement outlined above. If only interested in a portion, please be specific on what services identified above are applicable. Also, please be sure to list the following: Company name, UEI number, CAGE code, and business size classification (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc.) A summary of relevant experience and capabilities related to the described requirement A list of recent, relevant contracts (within the last 3�5 years), including contract number, period of performance, scope, and customer Past performance in this area including: Contract Number, type of contract Length of contract Customer: (Agency or business) Contact information including name, address, telephone number, email address.
