Description
Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10 Detroit VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a Sole Source award under RFO 12. The Detroit VA Medical Center requires Quantity 1, SIEMENS Medical Solutions USA, Inc., 10835555, Head/Neck 20 Shim MR, to replace the current one that is broken. Qty. Part Number Description 1 10835555 Head/Neck 20 Shim MR The associated NAICS code is 339112. The Vendor will be Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., 2221 Gregson Drive, Cary, North Carolina, 27511 Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is needed because they can provide the exact item, the installation and service support as needed, in accordance with the service agreement, without voiding any warranties. The firm-fixed priced contract is anticipated and shall be awarded. It is the government's belief that the only proposed candidate possesses the capabilities required to meet this requirement successfully. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It s not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competitions would be advantageous to the Government.
