Description
This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services (as implemented by the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul) and the applicable authorities for limiting competition, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.This requirement is for the procurement of a turnkey Hexagon Absolute Arm Portable Coordinate Measuring Machine (PCMM) system manufactured by Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. NAICS Code is: 334513 - Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables Pursuant to the authorities for limiting competition, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, the 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, SD, intends to award a sole source contract to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc., 250 Circuit Drive, North Kingstown, RI 02852. This special notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes.
