Description
The Government requires one full-time, on-site Digital Fires Systems Integration Engineer (DFSE) to provide advanced technical expertise and integration support for the III Armored Corps (IIIAC) Fire Support Element (FSE) located at Fort Hood, TX. The DFSE is critical to maintaining the operational readiness of the digital fires architecture that enables the sensor-to-shooter kill chain. Key support areas include multinational fires interoperability through the Artillery Systems Cooperation Activities (ASCA) standard and supporting Army modernization efforts such as Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2). The contract includes a surge capability to provide additional qualified DFSE personnel to support simultaneous training, exercises, or experimentation events at multiple geographically separated locations. Disclaimer: All supporting documents are incorporated into the combined synopsis/solicition. The solicitation package consist of 88 pages. Offerors are advised to review all documents in their entirety prior to submission of questions or quotes.
