In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Getinge USA Sales, LLC has been identified as the sole, brand-name vendor who can provide the services required by the agency. Codes for Services or Supplies: NAICS: 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance PSC: J059 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment � Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components Description of Requirement: The Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations (AFMAO) requires preventative and unscheduled maintenance services for primary care of their Getinge instrument washer, Model 8666/CCU, Serial Number WAA052924. The Getinge instrument washer cleans and sanitizes medical instruments used in AFMAO's "zero-failure mission", including the embalming process of human remains. AFMAO requires preventative maintenance on an annual basis and unscheduled maintenance with a four-hour response time to maintain a system reliability guarantee of 97% at all times. AFMAO had determined this to be a mission essential requirement aligning with DFARS 252.237-7023 Continuation of Essential Contractor Services. Additionally, the contractor must be authorized and trained to service equipment produced by Getinge USA Sales, LLC.
