Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25626Q0663 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action is for the 5/6-year preventive maintenance of Fire Extinguishers at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) located at 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA, 70119 to ensure safety and adherence to regulatory standards for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 541990 (All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services) and the size standard is $19.5 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01 (03/13/2026).
