Description
This is for a market survey only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions that has the capability to fulfill a requirement at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The requirement is as follows: The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, tools and supplies necessary to inspect, clean, repair, and maintain oil/water separator systems, grit chambers, vegetable oil and grease traps, at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. Additionally the contractor shall mow/till/monitor and sample the Land Treatment Facility during the growing season (May-Sept). Work shall comply with government and commercial standards and be in accordance with all Federal, State, and local regulations. This contract will consist of a base and four option years. There is currently an incumbent. The North American Industry Classification System is 562112 � Hazardous Waste Collection. The purpose of this source sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business�s (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. NOTE: If you believe the above NAICS to be incorrect please suggest alternate NAICS for this acquisition. Any information received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis.
