Description

The Nett Warrior program provides dismounted leaders with enhanced situational awareness and command and control through a smartphone-based End User Device (EUD). While effective, the current system is comprised of numerous individual components, including a chest mount, power/data hub, tactical radio, and extensive cabling. To improve efficiency and reduce the warfighter's burden, the program office is seeking a single, integrated system to replace the separate chest mount, power hub, and radio. This new device must be powered by the existing Conformable Wearable Battery (CWB) and reduce the overall size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements. Additional capabilities for this consolidated system include on-board computing, 5G connectivity, and support for multiple Army MANET waveforms with performance matching current tactical radios. The system must also include a detachable, protective case for the EUD that interfaces directly with the new mount. Notional Capabilities Matrix is available upon request. Questionnaire: What is your company's experience with developing and manufacturing similar systems for military applications? Include experience with developing software to support these systems. Provide a description of the technology, to include what requirements it does/does not meet, specifically how it could support multiple RF transport modalities. Describe your approach to developing system software including device provisioning and 3rd party application integration. What is your estimated timeline to deliver a set of initial prototypes for government testing, assuming a contract award and finalized requirements? Based on the information provided, can you provide a non-binding ROM cost estimate for the development of a production-ready prototype?
