RSVP Link: https://forms.gle/pk3LHYnxRdTBQ9uS7 Project Description: The General Services Administration (GSA), in partnership with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), intends to procure design-build services for the development of the EMO Facility N278 at NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California. This requirement includes demolition of existing facilities and construction of a new multi-functional engineering and mission support facility intended to consolidate key operational functions into a centralized modern workspace environment. Demolition activities include removal of the existing Motor Pool Facility (Building N251), Machine Shop (Building N216), associated fuel infrastructure, and related site improvements. The proposed EMO Facility N278 is anticipated to consist of approximately 30,292 gross square feet and will include office space, technical laboratories, meeting and collaboration areas, and mission support functions. The facility is intended to advance NASAs campus modernization objectives by reducing operational inefficiencies, supporting sustainable building practices, and enhancing workplace functionality within the Ames Research Center campus environment. Acquisition Overview: The Government anticipates procuring this requirement utilizing the two-phase design-build selection procedures, with a contract award anticipated on or around Q3 of 2027. The anticipated period of performance for the design-build effort is approximately twenty-four (24) months. The estimated magnitude of the requirement is between $45,000,000 and $55,000,000. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide interested firms with an overview of the project, including the Governments vision, program objectives, functional and operational requirements, and desired project outcomes. The event will provide attendees with a better understanding of the projects scope, key design and construction considerations, and the priorities that will guide the successful delivery of the project. The Industry Day will also include an overview of the anticipated acquisition strategy, procurement schedule, and planned evaluation approach, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions regarding the upcoming procurement. The anticipated agenda includes: Welcome and introductions Project overview and objectives Scope of work and key project requirements, and desired project outcomes Acquisition strategy and anticipated procurement schedule Evaluation approach Question and Answer (Q&A) session Registration: This event will be open to U.S. citizens and to foreign nationals employed by U.S.-based contractors.
