Sizes range from 9" to 19" bore and lengths vary. The BPA will cover a variety of contract line-item numbers (CLINs) including fabrication of new hydraulic cylinders, rehabilitation of existing cylinders, honing of cylinders, and fabrication of new pistons and piston rods. Interested vendors should demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in the fabrication of industrial hydraulic cylinders of similar size and function. Respondents must also be able to meet stringent quality requirements, provide detailed shop drawings and submittals, and comply with all applicable security and access control procedures for work performed at government facilities. The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cylinders/parts to the Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Shop (PEWARS).
