Description

Amendment to Combined Synopsis-Solicitation 36C10G25R0042 0002 The purpose of this amendment is to: Extend the Due Date for the solicitation. The Due Date of the Combined Synopsis-Solicitation is extended to Thursday, 09/25/2025 at 11:59 PM ET. Add responses to the below questions: Question 1: Salient Characteristic 3 states The Endoscope Drying and Storage Cabinet shall be a stand-alone cabinet with the ability to expand scope capacity with an add on expansion unit. The verbiage add on expansion unit is only used by Steris. Other manufacturers allow for expansion through multiple units being set up together. Therefore, can you expand on what is required for an expansion unit? Can it be two units that are housed together in the same room? CHANGE: Replace add on expansion unit with additional unit . The requirement will be the same as it is for the original unit. The additional unit would just expand the capacity to hold additional scopes. Question 2: CLIN 0001 calls for a 6500 Ser HEPA Drying CBNT, 12 Scope Main Unit. Not all other manufacturers have 12 scope increments. Would another value, like 10 or 14, be acceptable? CHANGE: The 12 Scope Main Unit is preferable; however, 10 and 14 Scope Main Units are tolerable (can serve as substitutes when the 12 is not met). All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.
