Description

Requirement: The New York Harbor Healthcare System (Brooklyn and Manhattan Campuses) require the brand name or equal to purchase of radiation safety badges to protect personnel and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure, to prevent contamination of natural resources and to meet the state and federal regulations governing the possession and use of radioisotopes and units producing X-ray. Radiation can be an invaluable tool in healthcare and research and properly used can provide great benefits to mankind with little or no attendant risk. However, improper use can bring risk of high radiation exposure resulting in chronic illness, injury or even death.
