Description

Department of Veterans Affairs The Department of Veterans Affairs is considering a superseding lease using other than full and open competition for the Jacksonville Vet Center, an existing lease, located in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The current lease is expiring December 31, 2032. Requirement City: Jacksonville State: North Carolina Delineated Area: North: US-17 South: SR-24 East: Piney Green West: US-17 Minimum ABOA: 7,780 Maximum ABOA: 7,780 Space Type: Office Space All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before February 1, 2027. Lease term will be 20 years; 5 -year firm fixed price with additional 15-year soft terms. The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise, the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 221 Memorial Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the Jacksonville Vet Center should relocate.
