Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for the installation of one (1) GE Healthcare Discovery XR656 equipment at the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic located at 1501 Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City, Philippines. This acquisition will be made under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(2), only one source can provide the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized. The intended Contractor is GE Precision Healthcare, LLC, a Large Business located at 3000 North Grandview Boulevard, Waukesha, WI 53188-1655. GE Precision Healthcare LLC s Radiology & Imaging Systems are proprietary, and no other distributors are authorized to perform the equipment installation. The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) has an Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with GE Precision Healthcare LLC for this requirement as a sole source delivery/task order against IDIQ VA797H-17-D-0024. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334517 Irradiation Apparatus Equipment and the SBA Size Standard is 1,200 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Time, May 22, 2026. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s needs as stated above. Please send your responses to this notice to cristina.lansangan@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
