Sources Sought Notice - Transformer Refurbishment Services This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for quotes. The Government is seeking to identify qualified contractors capable of performing the requirements described below. The Government is particularly interested in responses from small business concerns. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, including the potential for a small business set-aside. Requirement Description The Government requires a contractor to refurbish the KT2A transformer at the Tracy Substation in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Additional details, including the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and supporting exhibits are provided as attachments to this notice. Requested Information Provide company information (name, SAM UEI, business size standard under NAICS 811310). Provide 1-3 examples of similar transformer refurbishment projects. Indicate whether work was performed as the prime contractor. Confirm that your firm is capable of performing the requirement described in the attached PWS. Provide estimated percentage of work to be subcontracted. Submission Instructions Responses shall be submitted via email to tthomas@wapa.gov.
