Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in the Philippines will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov website when it is available. This solicitation is to provide Group Life Insurance to Local Employees of the Government of the United States of America in Manila, Philippines. The estimated numbers of employees and eligible dependents are included in the solicitation. This is a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year options, and six-month option, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type of contract under which will be issued firm fixed price task orders, for one year with four one-year options, and six-month option, if exercised by the Government. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on or about December 2025. The proposal due date will be set forth in the solicitation. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://sam.gov/content/home prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are required to register prior to the submittal of proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://sam.gov/content/entity-registration Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses. Please submit your offer via email to ManilaContracting@state.gov prior to the response date and time. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; in MS-Word 2007/2010 or MS-Excel 2007/2010 or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 10MB. If the file size exceeds 10MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 10MB each.
