This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of Contractors capable of meeting the Government�s minimum requirements. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, FL is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potentially qualified firms capable of providing Overseas Type II Shipping Containers, unassembled (87�Lx47�Wx87�H) in support of Joint Personal Property Office, Southeast (JPPSO-SE) in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes and to determine if there are qualified firms able to fulfill this requirement. Description of Requirements: The Government needs: Up to 1,500 Overseas Type II Shipping Containers, Unassembled, Kits, Approximately 500 kits per year for the base and two option years Manufactured in accordance with Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Pamphlet 55.12 Commercial Containers for Department of Defense Household Goods Shipments. It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Deliver/Indefinite Quantity contract with a Product Service Code (PSC) of 8115, and NAICS Code of 321920 Wood Container and Pallet Manufacturing. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall not exceed three pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. The technical capabilities statement shall include: A cover page containing the Company�s Name, Address, CAGE Code, SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI), affiliate information, parent company, joint venture partners, small business socioeconomic status (if other than large for NAICS 321920), business size, government business point-of-contact name, phone number, and email address. State whether or not you are the manufacturer or distributor of the required shipping containers. If you are a distributor, include the name of the manufacturer. Your company's ability to certify shipping containers build process in accordance with SDDC Pamphlet 55.12 Commercial Containers for Department of Defense Household Goods Shipments No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted, as this is not a solicitation. To protect the integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Government Technical Point of Contact (GTPOC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made. Responses shall be submitted by 3:00 PM EDT, Monday, December 8, 2025. Any questions about the Description of Requirements must be submitted in writing to patricia.e.schramm.civ@us.navy.mil.
