Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to The North Carolina Ports Authority, 2202 Burnett Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28401-7002 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� This requirement is to provide II MEF, located Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Lejeune with wharfage and temporary staging services before and after deployments/exercises for military personnel and cargo. Services shall be provided at both Port of Morehead City and Port of Wilmington. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488310 � Port and Harbor Operations. A formal solicitation was not developed, but the informal Request for Quotes (M6700126Q0036) will be provided upon request. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received by email at the MCIEAST Regional Contracting Office no later than 12:00PM EST, 27 February 2026. The point of contact is Arlene Williams at arlene.d.williams@usmc.mil.
