Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site Chinhae intends to issue a competitive solicitation to accomplish the USNS SACAGAWEA (T-AKE 2) Voyage Repair Availability (VRA) as specified in the solicitation and in accordance with the work item package listed in Section J, Attachment J-1. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is 01 August 2026 to 14 September 2026. The place of performance for this contract will be onboard the vessel at Chinhae, S. Korea (ROKPOG AMMO PIER). The Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) solicitation will be available late May 2026 or early June 2026 through System for Award Management (SAM). Interested parties must comply with that solicitation. Interested offerors are hereby encouraged to monitor www.Sam.gov for the anticipated release of the solicitation, and any associated amendments. Offerors shall be registered in Sam.gov to be eligible for award. NOTE: This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in S. Korea as prescribed by DFARS 252.225-7042. Prospective contractors that are incorporated outside of ROK must meet the terms and conditions for the USFK Invited Contractor and Technical Representative Program. https://www.usfk.mil/About/USFK/Organization/Special-Staff/Acquisition-Management/ All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS) will guide this acquisition. This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.203(a) and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not accept proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided in response to this notice.
