Description
QA Set 2 Q1. Historical Pricing Information Are you able to provide any historical pricing information, previous contract rates, or a pricing range from prior awards for this requirement? This information would help ensure we are interpreting the pricing schedule and quote requirements appropriately. A1. This question was previously answered. 2. Price Schedule Clarification (Page 5, Section B.2) The pricing schedule appears to specify a flat rate for ambulance transportation that includes up to 12 miles and 30 minutes of wait time. However, we were unable to locate similar language for wheelchair van transportation. Could you please clarify whether: The wheelchair van pricing is also intended to include a specified mileage and wait time allowance; or The omission is intentional and wheelchair van services are to be priced differently? A2. Please notice an updated Price Schedule has been published and answers your questions. Q3. Invoicing Clarification (Page 51, Section 5.8) We would appreciate clarification regarding the point at which billable time begins. For example: Driver departs the contractor s facility at 7:00 AM. Driver travels 10 miles to the Veteran s residence. Veteran is picked up at 7:30 AM. Veteran is transported 7 miles and arrives at the appointment location at 7:45 AM. A 30-minute wait period is provided. Based on Section 5.8 and the included wait time provision, should billing begin at the Veteran pickup time, appointment arrival time, completion of the included wait period, or another point defined by the solicitation? A3. VA pays for loaded trips only. Please refer to Section 5 and the appropriate CLIN for additional information.
