Description
The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, Biolog, Inc., in Hayward CA. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses. This requirement is for The Genomics & Bioinformatics Department of the Biological Defense Research Directorate, Naval Medical Research Command-Frederick. The need is a preventative maintenance plan and extended warranty for Biolog Omnilog, S/N OL 692. One year support plan must include at a minimum: One on-site preventative maintenance (PM) visit done IAW OEM standards/requirements by OEM certified and authorized service technician(s). Service is conducted during regular business hours. All workmanship (labor, travel, parts) is warranted for 30 days upon completion of the preventative maintenance service. All parts and modules deemed necessary to repair or replace by our Technical Service Center and/or Field Service Engineers that are not covered under warranty or an extended warranty will be billed at an additional charge. 1. Product Code: SC90001, PM Service Contract, OmniLog Service Contract-Preventive Maintenance Only, QTY. 1 The award will be for a 12-month period, Period of Performance: 4/1/2026-3/31/2027 The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: https://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with the SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this Acquisition Office, all offers must have a Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number.
