Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) � Sources Sought Notice Only. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes only. The US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder; not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any further RFQ; IFB or RFP if issued. Health Readiness Contracting Office -(HRCO), Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole sourced contract to Sirtex Medical Inc. 300 Unicorn Park Drive Woburn, MA 01801, United States. Sirtex Medical Inc will provide SIR-Spheres� Y-90 resin microspheres and other materials used in conjunction with the microspheres. SIR-Spheres� Y-90 resin microspheres are indicated for the treatment of unresectable metastatic liver tumors from primary colorectal cancer with adjuvant intra-hepatic artery chemotherapy (IHAC) of FUDR (Floxuridine). Additionally, there are no other companies or firms that sells or distribute such items. The solicitation number is W91YTZ27QA0011, and the resulting award will be made on DD Form 1449 (Order for Commercial Items). This requirement is for commercial supply for the Department of Nuclear Medicine. The NAICS for this requirement is 334517- Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing, and Product Service Code (PSC)- Q527 Medical- Nuclear Medicine.
