Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in RFO Subpart 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued and is attached. (ii) The solicitation number is FA930226Q0074 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) and RFO baseline. (iv) This acquisition is NOT set aside for small business. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and RFO 6.103-1(b), Only One Responsible Source. The intended source is Quickset Defense Technologies LLC (CAGE: 80175). (v) Line Item(s): CLIN 0001: Quickset MPT-50 NCR 129MM HD-IP (P/N: 2-JA-V0129H-001-MWS) - Qty: 14 Each CLIN 0002: Customized Power Supply w/ Ethernet Switch (P/N: 7-08982) - Qty: 14 Each CLIN 0003: Customized Electronics Interface Rack (P/N: 7-08983) - Qty: 1 Each CLIN 0004: Cable, Base MPT to 53S (P/N: CC46736-10) - Qty: 14 Each CLIN 0005: Joystick, Control Quickset Tested (P/N: CTM-000074) - Qty: 2 Each CLIN 0006: Non-Recurring Engineering Fee (P/N: NRE) - Qty: 1 Lot (vi) Description of requirements: The 420th Combined Test Force has a requirement to procure fourteen (14) Quickset Pan/Tilt systems and associated integrated components. This equipment serves as a critical data acquisition and monitoring node on the range network. Direct procurement from the OEM (Quickset) is required to ensure immediate integration into the active Next Generation Data Acquisition and Telemetry System (NGDATS) Authority to Operate (ATO). Please see the attached Soicitation -FA930226Q0074 and Statement of Requirements (SOR). (vii) Delivery: Delivery is required 15 Weeks After Receipt of Order (ARO). Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Edwards AFB, CA 93524. (viii) The provision at RFO 12.301-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision at RFO 12.301-2, Evaluation-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at RFO 12.301-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, with its offer, or confirm registration in SAM.gov. (xi) The clause at RFO 12.301-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause at RFO 12.301-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. Notice of Intent: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
