Description

The attached combined synopsis/solicitation is hereby posted in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center has a requirement for the renewal of brand name Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC (Spacelabs) Intesys Clinical Suite (ICS) software maintenance. Under this proposed action VA will secure continued technical and remote support for the Spacelabs ICS software currently installed on the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center s Telemetry system. The Period of Performance shall be a base period of 12 months from date of award with four subsequent 12-month option periods, if exercised. Based on Market Research, the VA Technology Acquisition Center intends to issue the subject solicitation, and subsequently award, on a sole source basis to Spacelabs Healthcare, LLC. See attached solicitation for additional details, and redacted Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition supporting the limitation of competition for this effort. There are no set-asides contemplated for this requirement. This effort will utilize simplified procedures to procure certain commercial services/support. This effort is not subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement (WTO GPA) and/or a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The applicable PSC code is DA10, and the applicable NAICS is 541519 ($34.0M). Any proposals received will be evaluated in accordance with the Basis for Award in the attached combined synopsis/solicitation. The use in this solicitation or contract of any Federal Acquisition Regulation (48 CFR Chapter 1) clause or provision with an authorized deviation is indicated by the addition of "(DEVIATION)" after the date of the clause/provision.
