This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0163 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for janitorial services for USDA facility in Poplarville MS. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 651720 The small business size standard is $22.0 million This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Statement of Requirement The USDA, ARS Thad Cochran Southern Horticulture Research Center 810 Hwy 26 West Poplarville, MS 39470. The Contractor in accordance with the requirements of these specifications shall perform the services identified in the Matrix of Services. Such services include providing all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and other items or services necessary for the performance of the work unless otherwise stated herein. The Government has not made and will not make any efforts at determining square footage. It is the responsibility of all prospective bidders to visit the site and make appropriate determinations of size of areas and services required within each area. This solicitation has a mandatory site visit on 18 February 2026 at 10:00 am local time (CDT). Please coordinate with the location POC no later than 16 February 2026 to make arrangements to review the site. See Attachment 2 � Statement of work for a list of all requirements.
