Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12: Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00244-26-Q-S023 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the construction, alteration, and repair of male and female ceremonial flight suit uniforms for the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (NFDS), whose two primary locations are in the Naval Air Facility (NAF) in El Centro, CA during the winter, and Naval Air Station (NAS) in Pensacola, FL during the rest of the year. Please see the attachment titled "RFQ N00244-26-Q-S023" for all requirements related to this Notice. This includes the Statement of Work (SOW), instructions regarding what shall be submitted in the quotation, how quotes will be evaluated, and important deadlines and delivery dates. Section J of that document (i.e., Pages 33-34) list all exhibits and attachments which are provided and are attached to this Notice. The following lists key deadlines for this solicitation, which are laid out in the document titled "RFQ N00244-26-Q-S023": March 13, 2026 by 12:00 PM PDT: Vendor must submit intent to respond to this solicitation and their request for material (Nomex fabric, American Flag crest, and the NFDS Crest). Note: after the vendor receives the material, which may be after the March 13, 12:00 PM PDT deadline, the vendor must notify the Government that they confirm receipt of the material. April 16, 2026 by 4:00 PM PDT: All questions (if there are any) must be submitted to the Government. April 20, 2026 by 4:00 PM EDT: Component One: the two sample flight suits must be received by the NFDS at Naval Air Station (NAS) in Pensacola, FL. Note: Once the sample suits have been shipped to NFDS, the vendor must notify the Government that the items are in transit to NFDS. April 30, 2026 by 4:00 PM PDT: Component Two: the written proposal, must be received by the Government. Government Points of Contact (POCs) are stated in the "RFQ N00244-26-Q-S023" document in Section A (i.e., Page 3) and Section L (i.e., Page 36-44).
