Description
Amendment 0001 extends the due date until 12/12/2025. Please provide a copy of Amendment 0001 with your submission. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared In Accordance With (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items�, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Set Aside: None. This will be a full and open competition. NAICS code for this announcement is 339115, and small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) prescription safety glasses, i.e., eyewear, for the employees of FRCSW in accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, U.S. Navy safety instructions and established industry standards. The selected awardee shall provide FRCSW employees with a reliable source and a selection of styles of appropriate safety eyewear. Pursuant to FAR 12.602 contract award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance withFAR 13.106. Offeror�s submissions will be evaluated on a lowest-price, technically acceptable basis, considering the following factors: Technical and Price. (1) Technical: The quote must be rated as technically acceptable to be eligible for award. In order to be technically acceptable, the Quote must demonstrate compliance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation, compliance with all salient characteristics identified in the Statement of Work, and the Schedule of Items.. The Quote must provide sufficient detail to demonstrate that the vendor understands the scope of the Government's requirements. Quotes that fail to meet the above will be technically unacceptable and rejected. (2) Price: Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Discussions: The Government intends to award a purchase order without discussions with respective vendors/quoters. The Government however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in its best interest. Cost of Quotes: Expenses incurred in the preparation of quotes in response to this RFQ are the vendor�s sole responsibility and not reimbursable by the Government.
