The 18th Contracting Squadron cordially invites you to our upcoming Kadena Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Industry Day. This event is a prime opportunity for our industry partners to gain valuable insights into significant upcoming projects and pivotal regulatory updates. This event is intended for current MACC contract awardees (FA527025D0024 - FA527025D0037, FA527025D0041), as well as any current or interested subcontractors on the MACC contract. Date: 19 March 2026 Time: 0830 - 1030 Location: Keystone Theater, Kadena AB, Okinawa Agenda Highlights: This Industry Day will provide a detailed forecast of our procurement needs for the upcoming fiscal year. Prepare to engage with comprehensive briefings on the following high-value portfolios: 718th dFSRM Portfolio Military Family Housing Portfolio US Army Garrison Torii Station Portfolio Beyond these project-specific briefings, we will also be providing crucial updates on two of the most significant changes impacting the Okinawa MACC: The Latest on CMMC 2.0 Implementation: The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 is a mandatory framework designed to protect Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within the DoD supply chain. Revolutionary FAR Overhaul: The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is undergoing a significant overhaul to streamline the procurement process. This initiative aims to make the FAR easier to understand and use, which will impact how you bid on and manage federal contracts. We will discuss the key changes and how they will affect your interactions with the federal government. Throughout the event you will be provided with the opportunity to ask questions and obtain clarification on the topics presented.
