Description
Update, 3/9/26: The FAA is attaching a third Questions and Answers file (file: "ChBA Phase 1_QA_Part3_2026-03-09"). No changes were made to the Announcement or any other attachments. The due date for Phase 1 responses has not been extended and remains March 13, 2026 by 5PM (ET). Update, 3/4/26: The FAA is attaching a second Questions and Answers file (file: "ChBA Phase 1_QA_Part2_2026-03-04") along with an updated Phase 1 Announcement (file: "ChBA Phase 1_Announcement_Update_2026-03-04") which replaces the prior version. Additionally, the FAA is providing a revised Attachment 2 (file: "ChBA Phase 1_Attachment 2 - Self-Score Worksheet_Update_2026-03-04") which replaces the prior version. The due date for Phase 1 responses has not been extended and remains March 13, 2026 by 5PM (ET). Update, 2/27/26: The FAA is attaching Questions and Answers (file: "ChBA Phase 1_QA_2026-02-27") along with an updated Phase 1 Announcement (file: "ChBA Phase 1_Announcement_Update_2026-02-27") which replaces the prior version. Additionally, the FAA is providing a revised Attachment 2 (file: "ChBA Phase 1_Attachment 2 - Self-Score Worksheet_Update_2026-02-27") which replaces the prior version along with a new Attachment 4 (file: "ChBA Phase 1_Attachment 4 - Legacy Application Portfolio Current State_2026-02-27"). The due date for Phase 1 responses has been extended. Phase 1 responses are now due March 13, 2026 by 5PM (ET). Initial Announcement, 2/17/26: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing a Challenge Based Acquisition (ChBA) for the Accelerated Transformation of Legacy Applications and Systems (ATLAS). Please see the attached ChBA Phase 1 documents for the complete description and requirements for Phase 1 submissions. Questions are due by February 24, 2026, and Phase 1 responses are due by March 10, 2026.
