Description

This Solicitation shall result in a firm fixed-price contract for the period of one (1) year plus four (4) option years upon award. The contractor shall provide comprehensive testing, certification, preventive maintenance, and filter replacement services for chemical hoods, HEPA filtration systems, and other critical containment and ventilation equipment at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN. The requested services shall include certification of Primary and Secondary Engineering Controls (PECs/SECs), Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs), Laminar Airflow Workstations (LAFWs), Restricted Access Barriers (RABs), cleanroom environments, and air handling systems in pharmacy, laboratory, surgical, isolation, and research areas. Testing shall include, but is not limited to, smoke pattern testing (with video), viable and non-viable microbial sampling, particle counting, airflow and pressure measurements, and HEPA/pre-filter testing and replacement. All work shall be performed in accordance with USP <797>, USP <800>, NSF/ANSI 49, ISO 14644-1, CETA CAG-003, VHA Directive 1108.12, and other applicable federal and VA standards. This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business will not be considered and shall be rejected. Anticipated award date is October 27, 2025, for a period of one (1) year plus four (4) option years. Solicitation packages will be available on or about October 3, 2025.
