Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source modification under current Task Order No. GS-35F-023GA/75N95025F00061 with AXLE INFORMATICS, LLC to extend the period of performance by 3-months through June 27, 2026. The purpose of this sole source modification is to extend the final period of performance for the NCATS Scientific and Technology Program Support (STPS) for three additional months in order to continue to provide comprehensive support for the integrated scientific environment supporting NCATS. Due to a continued need for the services performed under this contract, and to prevent a lapse in critical services while the follow-on contract is being competed, it is necessary to complete a sole source modification to extend the period of performance to avoid the interruption of mission critical services to support the NCATS mission. This notice is being published by NIH/NCATS in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201. The statutory authority for this sole source modification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within 3 days of this posting. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. NCATS will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this notice.
