SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY) USDA Forest Service SRS-4353 Tallahassee- Chipola Experimental Forest Flow Monitoring Stations Install (Reference # 1155253) The USDA Forest Service is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. The location of the work will be USDA Forest Service-Apalachicola Work Center, 23288 NW County Road 12. Bristol, FL 32321 and the work will consist of: Purchase order for Teledyne ISCO Model 6712 Stormwater samplers with Area Velocity Modules and Area Velocity sensors with a 10-foot measurement range and 25-foot cables and suction hoses to monitor and collect flow characteristics data in a headwater stream. The ISCO 6712 samplers can be used in a variety of settings and conditions ranging from open channel flow applications to pipe flow applications. The ISCO 6712 with the flow module is a complete flow monitoring and sampling system that has proven results in the remote and harsh conditions that are common with the units' deployments of instrumentation. A draft of the scope of work is included in additional information on the Government�s requirements. In response to this sources sought, interested firms must submit the following information: 1. This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on SAM.gov. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by Nov 10, 2025, at 11:00 am (ET) must be submitted via email to Yolanda Padilla yolanda.padilla@usda.gov. Include the reference number in the subject line. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
