SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE (Market Research Only) Biomedical Equipment Inspection, Testing, and Evaluation Services Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit 483B Great Neck Road S, Mashpee, MA 02649 Five-Year Estimate 1. Purpose The Indian Health Service (IHS) is conducting market research to identify qualified and capable small businesses that can provide biomedical equipment inspection, testing, and evaluation services for the Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government is seeking responses from Contractors who meet the definition of an �Indian Economic Enterprise� (HHSAR 326.601), and also/or sources that meet the small business size standards under the associated NAICS 811210. 2. Background The Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit operates three functional units�Administrative, Dental, and Clinical�requiring recurring biomedical equipment inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation in accordance with federal, industry, and manufacturer standards. 3. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, test equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to perform inspection, testing, and evaluation of biomedical equipment. Required services include: Visual examination for physical damage or wear. Functional and performance testing per manufacturer specifications. Verification of electrical safety and grounding integrity. Calibration checks where applicable. Documentation of inspection results and identification of deficiencies. Recommendations for repair, calibration, or replacement as needed. All inspections will be performed on designated biomedical devices within the facility during the scheduled maintenance period. All work must comply with applicable standards, including NFPA 99, Joint Commission requirements, FDA regulations (as applicable), and manufacturer service manuals. A detailed equipment list will be provided prior to performance. 4. Period of Performance April 1, 2026 � March 30, 2027 5. Contractor Qualifications Respondents must demonstrate: Experience performing biomedical equipment inspection and preventive maintenance. Qualified technicians (BMETs, manufacturer?trained personnel). Use of calibrated test equipment traceable to NIST standards. Ability to comply with all applicable safety, regulatory, and facility requirements. Past performance on similar federal or commercial biomedical service contracts. 7. Requested Information From Respondents Interested firms should submit a capability statement that includes: Company name, address, UEI, CAGE Code. Business size and socioeconomic classification. Point of contact information. Description of technical capabilities and relevant experience. List of qualified personnel and certifications. Past performance examples for similar biomedical inspection services. Any applicable contract vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule). Ability to meet the period of performance and onsite requirements. Responses should not exceed 3 pages. 8. Submission Instructions Responses must be submitted electronically to the point of contact listed in the official SAM.gov posting.
