Description
Sources Sought for 8-inch End-port Pressure Vessels and required equipment, Yuma Arizona NAICS and Size Standard: 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 in number of employees. Product Service Code: 4610, Water Purification Equipment. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin (LCB), Yuma Area Office (YAO), is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing 8-inch End-port Pressure Vessels and required equipment as described below. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The purpose of this announcement is to determine the availability and capability of qualified business concerns, including but not limited to Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Responses received will assist the Government in determining an appropriate acquisition strategy, including the potential for small business set-asides. Requirement Description � 292 (quantity) 8-inch End-port Pressure Vessels � 710 (quantity) 1.5-inch NPS Grooved Mechanical Couplings � 3600 (quantity) Grade �E� EPDM Gaskets for 1.5-inch NPS Grooved Mechanical Couplings All items are to be delivered to the following address: US Bureau of Reclamation 7301 Calle Agua Salada Yuma, AZ 85364 Interested parties should include the following information in their response: - Business name, address, cage code, size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (i.e. ISBEE, SDVOSB, Small Disadvantaged Business, ED/WOSB, HUBZone and/or 8(a)). - Points of contact include name, title, phone number, and email address. - Include the following statements: o Statement if the firm can supply all items listed on this sources sought o Statement whether the firm manufacturers the end product or not. o Statement of country of origin on all items listed on this sources sought. - Capabilities package (not to exceed 6 pages) should include the following information: � Project title, � Brief description of the work performed, � Dollar value of the job, � Prime/subcontractor, � Location, � Customer's contact name and phone number for the work completed All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this sources sought with all requested information via e-mail to Colleen Samuels via e-mail at colleen_samuels@ios.doi.gov.
