Description
SDA seeks detailed information to understand the current capability of industry to provide optical communication terminals for aircraft. Technology that is mature and can be rapidly fielded for demonstration and transition to operations is of primary interest. Specifically, SDA is interested in technologies capable of supporting space-to-air optical link testing with SDA-compliant LEO satellites in less than 12 months. Respondents are requested to provide information on products, either in production or in late-stage development, that can be installed on an aircraft to support a space-to-air optical communication link. Please see the attached RFI notice for additional information.
