Description
The 628th Contracting Squadron (628 CONS) located at 101 E. Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), SC is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a Brand Name Only (1) VAC-CON 3-Stage Vacuum Compressor Blower Assembly, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part Number: 711-14516S3, to repair a 2018 Freightliner VAC-CON Versatile Sewer Maintenance Vehicle for the 628 LRS Vehicle Management Flight. The OEM part is proprietary to this vehicle. This solicitation is for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in RFO 12.201-1.The statutory authority permitting the restriction of this procurement to a Brand-Name Only description is 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by the streamlined procedures of the RFO, because the OEM VAC-CON part is the only item reasonably available that is fully compatible with the proprietary systems of the host vehicle. This solicitation is being posted in accordance with the publicizing exemptions under RFO 5.101(b)(1)(i), as electronic submission of quotes is required. Manufacturer: VAC-CON, Inc. Item: 3-Stage Vacuum Compressor Blower Assembly Part Number: 711-14516S3 Quantity: 1 (One) Each This acquisition is restricted to VAC-CON brand name parts only. "Or equal" products will not be considered or evaluated. This specific brand is required to ensure seamless integration and operational compatibility with existing DoD proprietary VAC-CON sewer vehicles. The approved Brand Name Justification is attached to this posting. Submission Instructions: Please review the attached solicitation document for the complete statement of need, delivery requirements (FOB Destination), and applicable incorporated clauses. Quote Deadline: All quotes must be received no later than 25 June 2026 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). Electronic Submission: Quotes must be submitted electronically to nicole.alvarez.1@us.af.mil & morgan.hart.1@us.af.mil. Vendor Details: Quotes must include the vendor�s Unique Entity ID (UEI), CAGE code, lead time, and total firm-fixed price.
