Description
The United States Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC, 1 N. Broadway, Floor 15, Suite 1501, White Plains, NY 10601 for maintenance for the proprietary Oxford Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) for the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). This notice is neither a request for quotations nor a solicitation of offers. Based on this requirement, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.102(a). Only written e-mailed (michael.velez@usss.dhs.gov and matthew.sutton@usss.dhs.gov) inquiries will be responded to and must be received no later than 3:00 pm, Eastern Time, March 12, 2026. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
