Category: 2330 � Trailers � Potential Sources Sought NAICS: 336212 - Truck Trailer Manufacturing The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this item including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a completed and signed Source Sought Response Form included with this notice, send email to 138.FW.MSC@us.af.mil. Include the following in the subject line - Sources Sought � ACE Trailer. No facsimile responses will be honored. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Mobile Enclosed Gooseneck Stage Trailer The trailer should provide enclosed transport capability with integrated fold-out stage functionality and self-contained utility features Enclosed gooseneck stage trailer meeting the minimum specifications identified below. The trailer shall be fully assembled, road-ready, and compliant with all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Manufacturer standard warranty coverage on trailer structure and components. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS General Configuration Enclosed gooseneck trailer design Integrated fold-out mobile stage platform Overall trailer length: approximately 36 feet Trailer width: approximately 8.5 feet (102 inches) Interior height: minimum 8 feet Triple axle configuration Heavy-duty steel frame construction utilizing approximately 8-inch I-beam frame members Smooth exterior finish Weather-resistant construction suitable for year-round outdoor use Capacity & Suspension Minimum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): 20,000 pounds Triple torsion axle suspension system Minimum axle rating: 7,000 pounds per axle Electric braking system on all axles Radial tires suitable for highway transport Gooseneck Requirements Adjustable gooseneck coupler compatible with 2-5/16-inch hitch systems Dual landing gear or hydraulic stabilization system Safety chains and breakaway system included Stage & Access Requirements Integrated fold-out stage system capable of supporting live presentations, ceremonies, demonstrations, or performances Rear ramp door access Minimum one side personnel access door Non-slip stage and walking surfaces Stabilization system for stage deployment during use Interior & Utility Requirements Interior LED lighting package Exterior LED lighting package for nighttime operational/work area illumination around trailer perimeter Interior plywood wall and flooring system or equivalent commercial-grade materials Multiple cargo securement points, including floor-mounted tie-down system or E-track system Roof ventilation system Shore power electrical hookup capability Interior electrical outlets for auxiliary equipment support Integrated Equipment Requirements The trailer shall include the following permanently installed or securely mounted equipment: One (1) electric winch with minimum 10,000-pound pulling capacity mounted to the trailer One (1) compact refrigerator suitable for food and beverage storage One (1) microwave oven Integrated AM/FM and Bluetooth-capable radio/audio system Interior and exterior speakers suitable for announcements, music playback, and operational use Restroom Requirements The trailer shall include an enclosed restroom compartment containing: One (1) toilet One (1) sink with running water capability Interior lighting and ventilation No shower required Exterior Requirements LED exterior running and marker lights DOT-compliant reflective markings Undercoating or corrosion protection treatment Bogey wheels or rear skid protection for driveway/ramp clearance //End of Salient Characteristics//
