Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source � � The Department of Veterans Affairs, Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to PROAIM AMERICAS, LLC. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) (1)(ii) to PROAIM AMERICAS, LLC., located at 16024 Manchester RD STE 200 Ellisville, MO 63011 for the Zeiss IOLMaster 700. This requirement is to purchase the Zeiss IOLMaster 700, which is currently needed at the Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus Medical Center. The Zeiss IOLMaster 700 is a non-contact ocular biometry system used for pre-operative cataract surgery planning. It measures axial length, corneal curvature, corneal topography, anterior chamber depth, and lens thickness to calculate the appropriate intraocular lens (IOL) power for cataract surgery patients. These measurements directly impact postoperative visual outcomes. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing.� This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes.� Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it s proprietary in nature.� The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. Due to the crucial need, this requirement will be sole sourced. Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for future requirements. No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquiries will be honored. The Government intends to execute this award on or about January 12, 2026. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, intends to make a sole award to: PROAIM AMERICAS, LLC. 16024 Manchester RD STE 200 Ellisville, MO 63011-2195 Nevertheless, we are seeking a domestic source, or equivalent to the product, that can meet the salient characteristics and unique specifications listed above.
