Description
all traffic solutions or equivalent Stand alone individually mounted speed radar signs: Sign specifications for supporting single personnel transportation/installation would be 12x 6 digits, 112 LED per digit for optimal viewing for motorists. Dimensions and weight without battery for ease of storage, as well as storage space utilized 13.5 high x 15.5 wide x 3.12 deep, 12 lb. Have storage/transportation case, soft shell, available to protect traffic control equipment during transportation and storage, prolonging the life cycle and serviceability of the equipment. Power source would be 12VDC, 1.1A, 15W with power saving circuitry and automatic dimming for ambient light conditions with adjustable dimming range and manual display brightness over ride. Have a capacity for two batteries in sign for extended portable use, cutting down battery change cycle consisting of 10.2Ah Lithium LFP battery with built-in short circuit and reverse polarity protection circuitry, 1.5A 12.8VDC output, 120VAC input automatic charger for extended portable use, and use in colder climates. Would require the availability of extra batteries to be purchased for each unit to minimize inoperable times for traffic control devices. Due to different areas and locations on the installation, a universal mounting system to attach to poles, trailers or signposts would effectively maximize the signs potential. Radar specifications required is K Band (24.15 GHz), FCC certified with no license required, +/-1 mph accuracy, 12-degree cone pickup area, 5-105 mph, with a range of 1200+ Feet, fitting the needs of all areas where signs would be posted. Modes of14eachoperation for the signs display approaching vehicle?s speed and returns to last configuration when power is cut and reapplied. On-Board Programming would be required for setting speed limits, setting display modes and setting radar sensitivity.
