Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice only. It is neither a solicitation nor a request for a quote, and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes only and to make appropriate acquisition decisions to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 800 employees. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a business that can provide a Brand Name or Equal - Biodex Gait Trainer 3 with support bar and the BIODEX NXSTEP unweighing system to include installation and training. Concerns may respond by submitting a qualifications letter including the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Email, System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Identifier Code (UEI), Socio-Economic Category i.e.,(SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, etc.), Capability Statement specific to the technical requirements, product brochure, and authorized distribution letter. Provide evidence that your firm can provide the requested items, including past and/or current contracts for the same requirements, and any other compelling evidence to help the Government determine your company's capabilities. To be eligible for an award, prospective offerors must be registered on the SAM website, https://sam.gov/content/home. Responses to this notice shall be sent via email no later than 5:00 PM EST on MARCH 16, 2026. Telephone and facsimile responses will not be considered.
