Description

NASA/NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC)/John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) has a requirement for the purchase of two (2) BAUER GBHE26.12 -6K Helium Compressors to meet the specific requirements included in the Statement of Work (SOW). Please note that due to the sensitivity of the SOW, this material will not be posted on SAM.gov. NASA/NSSC/SSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the items from Bauer Compressors under authority of FAR 6.103-1. Market research was conducted previously in the form of a Request for Information, 80SSC026K0001, via SAM.gov, and only one responsible source has been identified that can meet NASA SSCs requirement. The Government intends to acquire the commercial product utilizing FAR part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Jennifer Rolison at Jennifer.R.Rolison@nasa.gov and Adrianne.Peyton.Ragan@nasa.gov not later than 3:00 pm CST on June 16, 2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. Any determination by the Government, based on responses to this notice, to not conduct this acquisition under full and open competition shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at : https://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/Procurement-Ombuds-Comp-Advocate-Listing.pdf
